Helping window cleaners earn more.
Sharing the ways I reduced hassle and increase earning potential - building a business on my terms and creating a better balance.
When I first started, I thought I had it all figured out. Work out the numbers, and the rest would fall into place.
Fifteen customers a day at £20 each, five days a week. That’s £1,500 a week, £6k a month. Keep at it for six months, and you’ve got a business. Simple, right?
Only, it wasn’t.
Because getting those customers is one thing. Keeping them, managing the schedule, chasing payments, sorting out the no-shows, the cancellations - that’s another.
And then you hit the big question: do I take someone on?
I set out wanting to build a business. What I ended up with, for a while, was a high-paying job. I had the freedom, yes, but it came with pressure that never really went away.
I told myself it was fine, but honestly? I was knackered. Tired in a way that doesn’t go away with one good night’s sleep.
The problem? Too much time on the wrong stuff.
I was spending countless hours on admin. From round plans to receipts, expense tracking and phone calls.
The best bit, I was spending my free time chasing money for the work I’d already done.
I felt the busy fool.
…there had to be a better way
I took the business apart and put it back together.
Everything from payments to bookings, scheduling and getting customers. I set up systems for everything to save me time and money - saving me the expense and hassle of employing someone.
